Meet our Staff

There are a lot of learning academies springing open every day. There are all kinds of different selling points and price ranges available and they come with a lot of glittery promises too. However, few actually make an effort to understand the problems faced by the students. Every single academy teaches students in the same normal way that was of no help to the student to begin with. There is nothing new.

There is an old saying that, “Even the fingers of the same hand are not equal”, how then can we expect ALL students to understand and apply the same methodology and that too at such a young age. We must appreciate diversity. We must allow creativity and must accept it whole-heartedly. At Education Garden we are doing just that.

The raison d’etre behind setting up Education Garden has never been to be just a tuition centre. Education Garden’s sole ideology is to revolutionize the way students learn, starting from primary school Math.

We at Education Garden have completely revamped the teaching mind-set for primary school Mathematics. And this is obvious from the effect our centre has had on our students. We have had students who hated Math as a subject and after coming to us showed tremendous change in their mentality towards Math. We have had partially-autistic students who have performed exceptionally well for their PSLE examinations because of the methods we taught them.

Our Mission

Education Garden is a tuition centre specialises in Math for Primary, Secondary and Junior College (JC). Education Garden develops unique and innovative solutions for primary school Mathematics and does so with emphasis on the simplicity of our solution which at the same time encourages creative thinking in our students. By providing out-of-the-box solutions, we create a mind-set in our students which emphasizes out-of-the-box thinking. Our business vision provides us with our ideology and our core values keep us on our path and allow us to engage challenges and obstacles in our path in a constructive, futuristic way. We currently have a Maths Centre at Jurong (West) and Serangoon (North) and plans to open up more in the East and South to help more children.
Our core values derive from the understanding about what students have to go through in any orthodox primary school in Singapore. We strongly believe that students should not have to be afraid to deal with Math or resort to memorizing methods. Math can be enjoyed and learned in a better way, in a less scary environment with much better results and happier students. And we believe that we have come upon a way to do just this.
